- To reset a player that has a removable battery (ZEN MicroPhoto, ZEN Micro, ZEN Vision, ZEN PMC, and all MuVo players), detach the power cable (if applicable), remove the battery from the battery compartment, wait for 5 seconds, and insert the battery. Turn on the player.
- To reset a player that has an integrated battery (ZEN (4G, 8G, 16G), ZEN Stone, ZEN Stone Plus, Zen Vision:M, Zen Sleek Photo, Zen Sleek and Zen Touch), gently push a pin into the reset hole, and then remove the pin. Turn on the player.

- If your player stops responding, gently push the end of a thin object (such as a pin or straightened paperclip) into the Reset hole.
- The reset hole for the ZEN X-Fi is located beside the USB port / earphone jack on the player.

- If your player stops responding, gently push the end of a thin object (such as a pin or straightened paperclip) into the Reset hole.
- The reset hole for the ZEN Mozaic is located on the left side with the player facing up.
